GARY POULIN, age 65 of Waseca died peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2010 with his family by his side.

Born on November 5, 1944 in Winona, Minnesota he was the son of Joseph and Caroline (Steinfeldt) Poulin.  Gary attended school in Winona and married Bonnie Dzwonkowski on September 26, 1964 in Winona.  Gary was determined to provide a good life for his family.  He was the first in his family to go to college, graduating from Winona State in 1974.  After two years with Lake Center Industries in Winona, Gary accepted a position with General Foods in Waseca as a Cost Accounting Supervisor, retiring in 1999 after 23 years with the company.  He enjoyed golfing, traveling, watching sporting events and spending time with his family.  The Christmas season was his favorite time of year.  Gary especially enjoyed making Christmas extra special for his family.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Waseca; four children, Rick and his wife Amy, Lynda and her husband Jeff, Jeff and his wife Susan, and Debra and her husband Steven; and seven grandchildren.  He is also survived by one sister, Judie and two brothers, Joe Jr., and Ron and his wife Jeri.  Gary was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers – Ray and Jimmy.
