MARIE ANNA CHRISTINA GEHRING, age 91 of Waseca died Monday, November 16, 2009 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.

She was born May 15, 1918 in Waseca, Minnesota the daughter of Roy and Anna (Napora) Klampe. She attended school in Waseca.  Marie married Chester Gehring on December 18, 1965 at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca.  She had worked for many years at Bird's Eye Division of General Foods in Waseca.  Marie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton, the Ladies Aid, Altar Guild, and Quilters.

She is survived by two step-daughters, Beverly (Clarence) Guse of Waseca and Marilyn Marsh and friend Norman Roemhildt of Janesville; two step-sons, Norman (Donna) Gehring of Waseca and Darrold (Beverly) Gehring of Waseca; 18 step-grandchildren; 39 step-great grandchildren; and 10 step-great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one brother, George (Ardean) Klampe of Waseca; one brother-in-law, Laurence Ruedy of Waseca; and one sister-in-law, Fern Klampe of Waseca and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one step-daughter-Lois Leger, three sisters-Verna, Helen, and Georgena; and two brothers-Harold and Marvin.

Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 4-8 PM and continue on Thursday, one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton with Rev. Glenn Korb officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
