ADRIAN R. BESKE, age 83, passed away at his home in Waterville on Saturday, January 9, 2010.

Born in Danville Township, Blue Earth County on February 14, 1926, Adrian was the son of William and Emma (Schwarz) Beske.  He attended school in rural Minnesota Lake before beginning to work full time on his family’s farm.  Later, Adrian served in the United States Army.  Following his time in the service, Adrian went back to school to learn electronics repair.  He then operated Beske TV Service; a business that he ran until just a few years ago.  He enjoyed volunteering his time for Waterville’s annual Bullhead Days, and he was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville.

Adrian is survived by one brother, Luverne (Shirley) Beske of Mankato; three sisters, Ardella Fields of Sheboygan, WI, Elaine Anderson of Mankato, and Betty (Palmer) Sawyer of Rochester; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Delores; and one brother, Willmar.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville with Rev. David Mumme officiating.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.
